Dark grey, medium, breaks down into layers and snappy till the end, doesn’t stick and no grit.
Typical slatepencils earthiness but with deep cementy dirt notes. It’s like sand stones and cement together but without the grit. Slate pencils taste better then raw shale for some reason. Best enjoyed in wet form.
